Danish - Arabic Culture Institute

Bryghusgrunden, Copenhagen 2005

With two structures integrating in each other, the project puts focus on the two different cultures living together in Denmark.

One part which functions as a space for exhibition and meeting place, and at the same time creates a bridge over the canal. A second part, which consists of cultural activities, such as library, café, movie theatre, and art school.
By integrating with each other, the two parts create openings for entrances and light, and they make it possible for people to meet and socialize, and at the same time learn about the two different cultures in different ways.
